In an 80 room, 'Suite' Hotel North of Hyde Park, Anouska Hempel has taken the discipline of an edited colour pallette, through a strict Architectural form to achieve a serene and balanced Eastern aesthetic. Mysterious, dark corridors twist and turn with unexpected surprises, a gloriously soaring atrium with an imposing 6m high door that effortlessly pivots, a monolithic white marble reception desk with a 7m unsupported length. Together with a front terrace garden sheltered by 34 Bosquet and pleached plane trees running the length of the six, 19th Century town houses that comprises the Hotel.
